Het gebruik van noodverlichting kan in dergelijke situaties paniek en ernstige ongevallen voorkomen doordat de vluchtweg duidelijk aangegeven is. De noodverlichting is voorzien van tien led lampen zodat de lamp altijd zichtbaar is. De meegeleverde universele richting stickers zorgen ervoor dat je eenvoudig de juiste vluchtrichting kunt aangeven. Mocht in gevaarlijke situaties onverhoopt de stroom uitvallen dan blijft de noodverlichting tot wel drie uur branden dankzij de back-up batterij. Op deze manier zal de oriëntatieverlichting lang genoeg blijven branden zodat iedereen veilig het gebouw kan verlaten. Het is belangrijk dat noodverlichting vanuit alle hoeken goed zichtbaar is. Let er dus op dat er bij het plaatsen van de verlichting geen planten, gordijnen, kasten of andere voorwerpen in de weg staan. Noodverlichting kan in levensbedreigende situaties levens redden, daarom is het belangrijk om de verlichting ten minste eens per jaar te testen.
