De Coleman Cortes 3 is een ruime veelzijdige tunneltent die zeer geschikt is voor een weekendje weg of een langere kampeertocht. Hij is slim ontworpen met tentstokken van fiberglas, zo is de tent niet alleen snel opgezet, maar weegt hij ook maar 4,1 kg. Na gebruik kan hij worden opgeborgen in de bijgeleverde waterdichte draagtas.
De Cortes 3 heeft drie slaapplaatsen in een aparte slaapcabine die een hoofdhoogte heeft van 105 cm. De ruime voortent biedt plaats aan alle bagage, en er kan met gemak nog een tafel staan. De voortent is volledig afsluitbaar, en is net zoals de ramen voorzien van een vliegengordijn.
De tent is gemaakt van stevig PU-gecoat polyester, het polyetheen grondzeil is volledig geïntegreerd in de hele tent. In het dak bevinden zich de ventilatieopeningen die zorgen voor de nodige lichtcirculatie.
